About The Paceline Project

This is the third year the team will race under the Paceline Project banner; and with a greater mission, supporting Bearings Bike Works in their efforts to mentor and develop inner-city youth. We’ve chalked up countless wins and podium finishes locally, regionally, and nationally; including State and Series Championships at both the Elite and Masters levels.

Our “Project”

Over the last 18 months, we rebranded the team to the Paceline Project, embodying the essence of our cycling philosophy. The Paceline Project is built on the foundation of riding in a paceline formation, where cyclists share the workload by taking turns at the front. This rotation allows each cyclist to set the pace while the rest benefit from drafting behind. As the person at the front rotates off, the next in line takes their place, creating a continuous, supportive cycle.

The benefit of a paceline is that cyclists working together can go faster and farther than they would alone. This notion of 'better together,' inclusiveness, and mutual support—helping each other go faster and farther on and off the bike—is the core of our team's mission.
